Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Mapi Adventure Peru. By booking our services or using our website (mapiadventureperu.com), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Provisions

  • Agency Role: Mapi Adventure Peru operates as an intermediary between clients and service providers, including airlines, bus operators, train services, hotels, and other tourism-related entities. We do not have direct control over these third parties and, therefore, are not liable for any accidents, losses, damages, delays, or irregularities caused by their actions or omissions.
  • Acceptance of Terms: By booking any service with us, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.

2. Reservations and Payments

  • Booking Confirmation: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service cost. The remaining balance must be paid at least 15 days before the service commencement.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and other methods as specified on our website. Any transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.

3. Prices and Rates

  • Currency: All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to change without prior notice until full payment is received.
  • Inclusions: Prices include services, transfers, excursions, specialized guides, and entrance tickets, unless otherwise specified. They do not include extras, tips, airport taxes, airfare (unless expressly indicated), excess baggage fees, or any other services not specified in the program.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Client Cancellations:
    • Cancellations made more than 35 days before the tour date will incur a 30% cancellation fee.
    • Cancellations made between 34 and 20 days before the tour date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
    • Cancellations made less than 20 days before the tour date are non-refundable.
  • Agency Cancellations: In the event that Mapi Adventure Peru cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will receive a full refund of payments made.

5. Changes to Itineraries

  • Modifications: Itineraries are planned carefully; however, changes may occur due to weather conditions, strikes, or other unforeseen events. We reserve the right to modify the order of excursions or travel routes to ensure the best experience for our clients.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Documentation: Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents.
  • Health and Fitness: Clients must be in suitable health to undertake the activities included in the tour. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
  • Insurance: It is recommended that clients obtain travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, and cancellations.

7. Liability

  • Limitations: Mapi Adventure Peru is not liable for losses, damages, or injuries sustained in connection with services provided by third parties, including transportation, accommodations, and other services.
  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or alterations due to natural disasters, strikes, weather conditions, or other events beyond our control.

8. Complaints and Claims

  • Procedure: Any complaints should be communicated immediately to our representatives during the tour to allow for prompt resolution. If the issue is not resolved, a formal complaint should be submitted in writing within 7 days after the tour’s conclusion.

9. Governing Law

  • Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Peru. Any disputes will be resolved under Peruvian jurisdiction.
