Every year to the north side of the Ausangate is celebrated from time immemorial the feast of Qoyllur Rit’i where the faith is impressed as they arrive dancers from different parts of the country Peru, (Quechua: snow star) before the feast of Corpus Christi, during which thousands of Quechua pilgrims Rit’i Quyllur the Lord in the temple of Sinakara (painting on a rock). This pilgrimage was included within the Representative List of Heritage.

Departure from Cusco
Departure from Cusco at 4:00 p.m. with destination to Qollasuyo, ancient Quechua road important part of tawantinsuyo (4 regions of the Incas) Checacupe arrive, arriving later d of PITUMARCA DISTRICT village where the rebels of history began defying Pachuteq, After To pass beautiful landscapes and valleys of Pitumarca that comes from JAPURA native village, HACHIPACHA with native inhabitants Quechua, finally reach the point called QUESIUNO place-road. From where we will have a delicious breakfast.

Vinicunca - Rainbow Mountain
After breakfast, we will travel beautiful landscapes, lagoons where South American camels (alpacas, llamas, vicuñas, puma, Andean birds, etc.) walk 3 ½ hours approximately. Up to the place called VININCUNCA -PASSO of 5029 meters above sea level, from where to observe the breathtaking view of the colorado hill with the sunrise shows its best impressive valley and hills of magical colors that only exists in this part of Peru.

After a long photo session we return to Quesiuno where our delicious lunch awaits us, and then we will head towards the town of Cusco arriving at approximately 6:30 pm.
